Month: June 2015

Goodbye Europe, Hello Indy!

It feels so strange being back in the states after a month in Europe! I had a fantastic time with my friend Courtney and I can’t wait to go back. We visited Italy (Rapallo, Portofino, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Florence, Venice), Croatia (Split, Hvar, Korcula, Dubrovnik, Trstenik, Makarska, and the Krka waterfalls), Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, and Munich. It was an incredible trip that I will never forget! I posted lots of pictures on Facebook in my Europe 2015 album if you want to check them out :).

After I took a 12 hour flight home from Munich on Sunday, I didn’t have any time to waste. I had lots of catch-up work to do, packing, laundry, and catching up with family on my birthday yesterday. Today was my brother’s high school graduation and we are celebrating with a family get-together tonight before I take a red eye flight to Indianapolis. As soon as I arrive tomorrow morning, I will hit the ground running at TLC (The Leadership Conference), helping behind the scenes, facilitating programs, and welcoming hundreds of Alpha Gams from across North America. I will be spending the summer in training at Alpha Gamma Delta International Headquarters in Indianapolis before hitting the road in August traveling for a second year as a Senior Leadership Consultant. I am excited to continue to work for an organization that has impacted me in such a huge way and service our chapters across North America with some more experience under my belt! I will try to keep this blog updated throughout the summer and post pictures when I can. Time to finish packing before dinner and heading to the airport tonight! Farewell California- I’ll be back home for a few vacation days in October! 🙂
